> Junior Rowing (High School Students)

Washington Rowing School offers a summer rowing program for all high school students. This is a great opportunity to enjoy boating on these warm summer days with friends from different schools. There will be two separate groups, beginners and experienced rowers.

Intermediates: Athletes will have rowed at least one season. The goal is skill development and summer fun on the water. This will expand rowings skills, versatility, and responsibility by exposing rowers to differents types of boats.

Afternoon Sculling for Intermediate rowers meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4-6:00 p.m.. Scullers will race at the Capital Sprints regatta and, optionally, Philadelphia Youth Regatta. $200 for July

Beginners: Our Learn to Row series is an introduction to the sport including equipment handing, terminology, basic rowing stroke, safety, and the importance of teamwork. Participants will learn to sweep row in eight and four person boats. Classes will be announced shortly.
