Welcome to the Washington Rowing School

The Washington Rowing School was created to make the sport of rowing accessible to everyone. Whether you crave a new physical outlet or are looking for more enjoyable ways to spend time on the water -- rowing combines grace, skill and balance while giving you a full physical workout. Founder and coach Cindy Cole brings over 33 years of competitive rowing and coaching experience and is now offering one-on-one and small group instruction for beginners and experienced rowers alike. Classes and individual instruction are available for sweep rowing or sculling.

Learn to row or perfect your technique on the tranquil waters of the Anacostia River. All classes launch from the Bladensburg Waterfront Park just outside of Washington, DC. View the current list of class times or contact us today to sign up.
